If you can pay by card, the bank can guarantee it, but they suggest steering clear of bank transfers for that amount. Plus, they want you to be physically present with the car before you buy it. In my situation, the car was all the way across the country, and dealing with the bank became a hassle since they insisted I check out the car first. I reached out to the dealer to verify the car's authenticity, and my deposit to Hey Car was confirmed. I was supposed to get a video of the car from the dealer, which I could use as proof for the bank. Unfortunately, that video never came through, so I decided to back out since it was becoming too complicated and time-consuming. I then got in touch with the dealer directly, set up a visit, and put down a deposit on the same vehicle. Now, I’ve got to make a two-day trip to see it, take it for a spin, and finalize the purchase. The main hiccup was my bank being overly cautious about online purchases. I appreciate the bank for looking out for my interests, and the team at Hey Car was super understanding, promptly refunding my deposit. I’d definitely recommend Hey Car; it might just save you a long trip for a car you don’t really need.

I was searching on Hay Car for a VW Polo for my daughter and came across one listed there. The dealer was Perrys of Burnley. I noticed the damage on the rear offside door in the picture, but I figured it could be fixed. However, after wasting my time checking out the car, I found even more damage inside the sill. When I asked the sales rep about it, he just said the car's price was as advertised and sold as is. Overall, Perrys of Burnley is a decent dealership.
